The Truckee River float
An easygoing Tahoe day that does the logistics for you.
Truckee River Raft Company makes it simple to spend an afternoon on the water. Park at Hidden Valley, ride the shuttle to the launch, and settle into your own party’s raft for five scenic miles through Tahoe City. The current is gentle, the scenery is alpine, and the last stretch adds just enough movement to keep the whole crew smiling.

Guest notes
The kind of day people talk about on the drive home.

Didn't originally have this on our Lake Tahoe itinerary, but at this point I would say it is a ‘can't miss’ event.
Great experience. Fun & safe for the entire family. Would recommend it. Also enjoyed eating lunch at the restaurant at the exit.
The river is calm with just enough rapids to make it tricky for novice rafters. Our two kids (5 and 7) loved it!
