What happens after you book
You receive a confirmation email containing your launch details and a link to your waiver. Sign the waiver before you travel and check-in at Hidden Valley takes only a couple of minutes.
Booking a large party
Parties of eight or more are best arranged with the desk so we can hold a single launch time for everyone. See group rafting or call us.
Paying for someone else
A Truckee River Raft Co. gift card covers any float reservation and does not expire — useful if you are buying for family visiting later in the summer.

Good to know before you reserve
What should I NOT bring on the raft?
No glass and no Styrofoam. Don't bring anything you don't want to lose or get wet — car keys, non-waterproof cameras and wedding rings tend to get lost in the river. A pair of Chums on your sunglasses is a good idea too.
Are the reservations pre-paid?
Yes, so that you are guaranteed a spot on the river. If there are a huge number of people rafting that day your time may be pushed back. You can make a reservation up to 2 hours before the time you want to go rafting, although we encourage you to book sooner.
What is your cancellation policy?
You must cancel 24 hours in advance of your trip for a full refund. You can always reschedule.
Can I add or subtract people to a reservation I've already made?
Yes. Refer to your confirmation email to make changes to your booking.
Where do I park for the raft trip?
All rafters park at the Hidden Valley lot at 2200 River Road, Tahoe City, CA 96145, directly across from the River Ranch. Parking at the launch site is limited, and parking at Hidden Valley is free and included in your trip.
