Group floats
One river, one plan, everybody included
Group rafting on the Truckee is straightforward because the trip itself is. Your party floats the same five miles as everyone else, but we organise the logistics around you: a single launch time, enough rafts for the whole group, and staff on hand at the check-in lot to get you moving quickly.
Because every reservation is pre-paid, your group's places on the river are guaranteed in advance — useful when you are coordinating twenty people who all need to be in the same place at the same time.
Rafts are assigned by our Launchmaster according to group size, water levels and raft availability, so you do not need to work out how many you need. You will never share a raft with people outside your party.

Good to know for groups
- Everyone 2 and up can raft; under 15 needs a signed release
- Rafters under 15 without a parent present need the form signed on the day
- At least two capable paddlers must be in each raft
- Coolers are welcome if one person can carry them
- No glass and no Styrofoam on the river
- Reservations are pre-paid to guarantee the group's spots
